Council of Europe Workshop on Roles and Responsibilities of Internet Intermediaries

Tbilisi, Georgia 19 December 2018

I was delighted to be invited back to Georgia to participate in this Council of Europe workshop. I was a speaker and acted as rapporteur. I spoke about the EU framework governing ecommerce and caselaw from the European Court of Justice and national courts. I also discussed how the way that the UK courts have interpreted the law with regard to blocking of copyrighted content and the balancing of interests.
